Daily Schedule
1) The Morning Walk

2) 30 - 60 minutes of Silence 
     We invite you to set 30 - 60 minutes aside during those 3 days
     to slow down and to integrate what has come up for you.


3) Meeting you on Zoom
    5pm - 8 pm CET (Berlin)/
    8am - 11 am PST (California)/ 

    4pm-7pm (UK)

4) Community after Session
  • Zoom after Session
       You will also have the opportunity to connect with the group after our online sessions
        for sharing, more Work, for silence.

        For this,  we will leave the Zoom space open for those of you that want to connect. 
        If you don't want to stay online, just leave the Zoom-room after the sessions. 
        The sessions will not be recorded.
  • WhatsApp group name is "Cleanse - Group 25/26" 
​        We will add you to a WhatsApp group so that we can meet with each other
        also outside the sessions and which allows us to post photos of our "Morning-Walks".

Fasting - Time out for body and mind

IMPORTANT: No one has to fast to be a part of the Cleanse . The "fasting exercise" is an invitation. 

The idea of this fasting is conscious renunciation, to interrupt your daily routine.
You can choose to abstain from things like meat, sweets, alcohol, cigarettes, television, social media,
​sugar, salt ...
=> Another idea of what you could be "fasting" is "complaining": During those 3 days instead of complaining about something or someone, write down each complaint on a paper. 
😉

Proper fasting also includes exercise, relaxation, and ensuring your body stays sufficiently hydrated.


There are 2 days of fasting. The fasting is ending on December 31 at 8 pm

  • December 29
        Make sure that you have all ingredients ready for your fast.
        Get / prepare food that is easy to digest, e.g. veggies, fruit

        Take your last meal at around 6 p.m your time.
         Avoid meat in the evening, as it takes a long time to digest

        You might want to prepare a veggie soup in advance. It keeps well in the fridge.
        Or you might want to prepare a broth for the coming 2 days of fasting.


  • ​December 30 (Day 1)​
        You can have herbal tea or water with lemon/ginger, but no coffee.
        When you wake up have a tall glass of warm water with fresh lemon and the same before you go to sleep.
         Drink water all day long (2 - 3 l) !!!
         You can choose your own favorite juice or  smoothie as long as it is not overly sweet. Don't use artificial sugar.
         Here are some juice ideas:
  • Veggiebroth   
  • Celery juice  
  • Beet Juice        
  • Watermelon Juice  
  • Apple Cucumber Juice  
 
  • ​December 31 (Day 2)​
          Breakfast:
        Continue hydrating yourself like on Day 1
        Drink 
warm water with ginger and/or lemon or herbal tea
       
        
You can choose your own favorite juice or  smoothie as long as it is not overly sweet. Don't use artificial sugar.
        Chew a raw carrot or an apple slowly, mindfully, or have a portion of porridge that fits in the palm of your hand.
        Lunch
        Eat potato soup.or rice soup (see recipes below)
        As Snack
       Chew raw veggies or an apple
        Or eat a slice of bread of your choice
        Dinner
        The official fasting is ending at 8 pm 
        Gradually ease your body back into regular meals by choosing easy-to-digest foods
        like salads, vegetables, rice, and bread. Try to avoid heavy, oily, cheesy, or meat-laden dishes.

        Some of you might want to continue fasting and can repeat day 1 and start with day 2 the next day.

                      German potato soup
​
PEYA - ayurvedic rice soup
Red rice – 300 gm
Water – 4200 ml
Salt – to taste
Mustard – 1/2 tea spoon
Cumin seeds – 1 tea spoon
Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tea spoon
Dry ginger – 1/4 inch piece
Cinnamon – 1/4 inch piece
Cardamom – 1 No.
Cloves – 2 No.
Coconut milk/milk – 100 ml
Total quantity: 1 litre

Method of preparation
Wash the rice and soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile roast the
mustard, fenugreek & cumin seeds and powder them coarsely.
Boil water in a pressure cooker, add salt and washed rice, add the
powder, stir well and close the lid of the cooker. Cook on medium
flame till 4-5 whistles. Remove the lid when there is no more
steam and empty into a serving bowl. You may add coconut milk
or milk. Serve hot with any stir fried vegetables and chutney.
